Polytec benchtops, measured for your job and installed in Melbourne.

Need the benchtop as well as the installer? We can help specify suitable made-to-order Polytec benchtop options, coordinate the order and install the finished top.

One workflow from product selection to installation.

Rather than buying a generic worktop and then finding an installer, we can review your layout and help match the benchtop specification to the actual job before it is ordered.

Current Polytec benchtop families include

  • Laminate benchtops with profile and thickness options.
  • 21mm Square Edge options in selected colours and finishes.
  • Tight Form profiles in 21mm and 33mm depending on colour/finish availability.
  • COMPACT laminate options for suitable applications.
  • XENOLITH premium solid-colour-core laminate options.

Product availability changes. Colour, finish, thickness, profile, maximum dimensions and edge options are confirmed against Polytec's current availability before ordering.

How supply + install is priced

We do not recommend a simplistic advertised dollar-per-metre rate. The real cost depends on the number of manufactured pieces, dimensions, profile, finished ends, joins, cut-outs, delivery and site installation. Our calculator therefore provides an allowance first, followed by a reviewed quote.

Choosing the right look

Stone-look laminates can create a cleaner contemporary appearance without moving to a fabricated stone product. Woodgrains can add warmth, while solid and neutral colours work well in laundries and utility areas. Samples should always be viewed before final selection.

Common questions

Made-to-order Polytec, answered.

How long does a made-to-order Polytec benchtop take?

Manufacturing lead times depend on the colour, finish and profile ordered. We confirm current lead times as part of the specification stage, before the order is placed.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes — we recommend viewing a physical sample of your chosen colour and finish before committing, since screen and print colours can shift from the real product.

What's the difference between Compact and Xenolith?

COMPACT is a laminate option suited to a range of standard applications; XENOLITH is a premium solid-colour-core laminate, meaning the colour runs through the material rather than sitting as a surface layer, which can suit exposed-edge details differently. Suitability depends on your layout and finish choice.
