Kaboodle cabinets come in fixed module widths, which makes planning the cabinet run straightforward — but the benchtop still has to be cut to your actual wall-to-wall dimension, not the nominal module total. Real walls are rarely perfectly square, so the finished benchtop needs scribing, joining and sealing the same as any other site installation.
A typical Kaboodle benchtop installation may include
- Measure the completed Kaboodle cabinet run on site.
- Cut the laminate benchtop to the final dimension.
- Prepare and fit joins between benchtop sections.
- Cut a standard drop-in sink or cooktop opening.
- Scribe to walls and finish exposed ends.
- Seal cut edges and substrate as required.
Installing with new Kaboodle cabinets? Benchtop installation should happen after the cabinets are fully installed and levelled, not before. Tell us your cabinet installer's timeline so we sequence the benchtop fit correctly.
