Before you book.
Can you install IKEA benchtops?
Yes, subject to the product and layout. Fixed-length IKEA worktops commonly need to be cut to size on site, joined, scribed and sealed around cut-outs. Those jobs are priced differently from factory-cut benchtops that arrive ready to install.
Can you install Bunnings or Kaboodle benchtops?
Yes, subject to the product and layout. We can install suitable customer-supplied laminate and timber benchtops from Bunnings, including selected Kaboodle and Practa ranges, with site cutting, joins and cut-outs quoted to suit the job.
Do you remove the existing benchtop?
Yes. Standard laminate and timber benchtops can usually be included in the quote. Stone, masonry or unusually heavy tops require separate assessment.
Does the price include a plumber or electrician?
No. Disconnecting or reconnecting sinks, taps, gas appliances and hard-wired electrical appliances is excluded unless specifically arranged and quoted.
Can you cut a sink or cooktop opening?
Yes for suitable products and standard installations. Drop-in cut-outs are different from specialist undermount sink work, polished edges or stone fabrication, which require separate assessment.
Why is the calculator only an estimate?
Benchtops are fitted to existing walls and cabinets. Out-of-level cabinets, walls that are out of square, difficult access, unusual joins, hidden damage and the exact benchtop material can all change the work required.
